Open the live map and look across the lake, bay, or coastal water you plan to cross. Turn on radar to see radar and lightning together, and use the age colors to spot the newest strikes.
Can I monitor my marina or launch ramp?
Set the marina or launch ramp as your saved place and turn on Lightning alerts. It has its own alert distance, so you choose how wide an area around the dock your nearby alerts cover.
How do I find the strongest strike near the boat?
Switch the strike colors to Strength, then use Find to jump to the strongest strike. Its available details show peak current in kiloamps, distance, and direction.
